FIFA World Cup 2022: All five Big Teams Will Be Knocked Out Early

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is approaching in less than two months. The foreign teams who have been given spots in Qatar are finishing their World Cup preparations. Some teams are concerned, even though the majority of the top global teams are getting ready for the competition quite well.

Let’s examine the five most significant teams that might not qualify for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. France, Germany, Spain, and Italy won the last four World Cups, and it now appears that one must go back to 2002 to find Brazil lifting the cup.

1) France

Despite having previously won the UEFA Nations League, France is now in dismal form. In their last six games, Didier Deschamps’ team has only been able to claim one victory.

The match from yesterday saw France defeat Denmark 2-0. The majority of the World Cup-winning team’s players are now past their prime. Inglo Kante recently made his injury comeback. He’ll probably get to the World Cup.

He hasn’t been in his greatest shape recently, though. After having knee surgery earlier this month, Paul Pogba is unlikely to play.

One of their icons in 2018—Griezmann—is not at his best. France will count on Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe in the hopes that they can work their magic and salvage the team.

The unbeatable team appeared vulnerable ahead of the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

Antoine Griezmann, one of their 2018 stars, is no longer performing at his best, and their backline is uncertain. The fans of France will be hoping that Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe can do their magic and give their team a successful run. But things right now seem a little shaky.

Before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, they appeared unbeatable a few years ago, but today they appear quite vulnerable.

2) Germany

At the FIFA World Cup 2018, Germany’s championship defense was completely forgettable. Sweden, Mexico, and South Korea were in front of Germany.

The team’s performance in the FIFA World Cup in 2022 is not encouraging. In their last six games, Hansi Flick’s team has only been able to claim one victory.

Although there are talented players, recent games have not been kind to them. Germany will have to endure an excruciating loss at the FIFA World Cup in 2022 if they don’t improve in the following games.

Germany’s performances will need to be more ruthless and clinical if they don’t want a completely forgettable World Cup in 2022.

In addition to Bayern Munich, the top-ranked club team in Germany, other Premier League teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are also having difficulties, not to mention Italian clubs Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.

Many “regular suspects” appear to have lost their sense of direction.

3) Uruguay

In the Conmayball World Cup qualifying tournament, Uruguay finished third behind Brazil and Argentina after winning their final four games.

However, the group may have trouble winning the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Star striker Luis Suarez is still struggling, and Darwin Nunes is also having a rough time. Edinson Cavani has only made one appearance at the club level this season.

La Celeste might have trouble progressing very far at the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Star striker Luis Suarez has long since passed his peak, and Darwin Nunez is also struggling.

This season, Edinson Cavani has only made one appearance for his club. As Portugal, South Korea, and Ghana meet Uruguay in the group, Rodrigo Bentancur and Federico Valverde will need to put in a lot of effort.

4) The USA

The national squad of the United States has recently been playing poorly. In their previous four games, they have only one victory.

In their last ten games, the U.S. Men’s National Team has only won four times. Against Grenada, Morocco, Panama, and Honduras, victories were achieved.

The US team tied with Uruguay, Mexico, and El Salvador while losing to Japan, Costa Rica, and Canada. The UAS national team is having trouble winning despite having a strong lineup.

At the FIFA World Cup 2022, the United States is in Group B along with England and Wales. It is not an excellent sign for Gregg Berhalter’s team that they will play in Group B of the 2022 FIFA World Cup against England and Wales.

5) Switzerland

The squad that advanced to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020 was Switzerland. The round of 16 matchups with the reigning world champions, France, featured Switzerland’s best performance. With 10 seconds left, Switzerland tied the score.

Although Switzerland’s 2-1 victory over Spain on Saturday is encouraging, it is unsettling that they are in Group G with Brazil and Serbia.

Serbia, who had been playing well lately, beat Portugal to qualify directly from Group A. One of the odds-on favorites to take home the World Cup this year in Brazil.

FIFA World Cup’s Knockout Round

The 2022 FIFA World Cup’s knockout round is the competition’s second and last round, coming after the group round.  At Lusail Iconic Stadium in Lusail, it will start on December 3 with a round of 16 and conclude on December 18, 2022.

The top two teams from each group—a total of sixteen—will go to the knockout round to compete in a tournament with single elimination.  The two losing teams from the semi-finals will also play one another in a play-off for third place.

Due to significant investment, Europe remains the dominant force in football, but the 2022 World Cup may provide Africa, Asia, and South America an opportunity to retaliate.

According to reports, fans at least want their teams to go to the last eight or maybe the playoffs. Brazil and Argentina were mentioned by Spanish national coach Luis Enrique mentioned Brazil and Argentina as the favorites for the 2022 tournament.
