Paddy Power are now offering odds on what Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will name their fourth child. Though the couple revealed this week that they are expecting a boy, narrowing the options somewhat, as yet no clear consensus has emerged on the most likely name. “Robert” is currently the favourite at 8/1, which appears to be a reference to Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian.
Second favourite is “Jay”, at 10/1, a nod to Kanye’s friend and collaborator Jay Z. However, the rappers’ relationship is a complicated one, and there have been numerous reports that the pair, once inseparable, have grown apart in recent years.
Honouring the President?
The option considered next most likely is “Donald”. West visited the White House in October, where he said that wearing the “Make America Great Again” hat “made me feel like Superman.” He also embraced President Trump, stating that “I love this guy right here.” Though West had appeared to distance himself from politics, claiming that he had been “used”, he started 2019 with a series of tweets praising the President.

West and Kardashian already have three children, North, Chicago and Saint. With no obvious pattern to their naming, and in the absence of any hint from the prospective parents, Paddy Power has let its imagination run wild on the potential options. The chances the baby might be named “New York” are given at 150/1, “Barack” at 300/1 and, at 500/1… “Paddy”.
